SWFC vs. US7 vs. Freedom Tower

I think I've heard these three towers considered to be very similar on these forums, so what do you guys think?

1. SWFC : sleek, shiny, and tall, almost like a award trophy shooting up in the sky.

2. US7: Simple but quite elegant. Will be the tallest usuable height building in the world when completed and a good example where a spire isn't needed. And it complements 2IFC very well.

3. Freedom Tower: The name alone is a major turn-off to me, but the tower is quite fine. A solid design but it's quite simple and nothing that we haven't seen before. And the base could go down as one of the wordt bases in history.

Love US7, upon completion, it should be my favorite HK tower. It's elegant, simple, glassy, and you can bet it's going to soar far better than the other two because of it's shape. Very classy, I hope the facade turns out well, it'll make or break the tower.

SWFC is a nice design, but was never a big fan of the top hole.

Although not final, the top of Freedom tower needs work, I don't like the spire-building relationship. It's another simple building that's ok but doesn't have the elegance of US7.

For me it's between US7 and SWFC. Hm... Eeek! What to choose? Gah!

Okay I voted for US7 too. I agree that its more classy. Also another reason is because from some angles SWFC looks fat.
I smell bad.

SWFC for sure - sleek, and simple.

The FT is just an eyesore, however - it's not 'ugly', it's just plain, mediocure, boring.

I like SWFC the least, but like US7 and Freedom Tower equally. The FT is a little more classy looking, but I like the design of US7 too.

SWFC. Nice shape. Reminds me a bit of Kingdom Centre.

SWFC for me, followed closely by US7. Freedom Tower is a long ways away from the other two. It is an improvement over the original design, but I think there are a lot of buildings out there 1/5 of its size which are (will be) 500X more appealing to me...plus the name is just another reminder what the US continues to lose under Herr Bush's reign of evil.

I think the new freedom tower lost a lot of its original message after the improvements. Now, it does not harmonize with the other buildings by linbeskind, whereas before, it fits perfectly to the movements of the other building.

I still vote for the freedom tower because in my opinion, many many people can come up with a centralized, "normal proportion" form like most of the popular buildings in skyscrapercity.com, but as proven by the competition, not many people can make a building that not only communicates the despair and hope of the sept 11, but answers to the very complex demands of the site.

I think that people should look beyond the tall, centralized, and standard form of architecture and understand the buildings that serves as backdrops and the new styles of architecture; the standard form of the future.

O yea, and i tried but can't understand how the freedom tower is boring..
