Forgot to do this but, Welcome to the Forums!!
Yeah, this forum is great...why dont you say "Hi" in the roll call thread? I'll add you in the list of forumers ![]() I'll dig up some Fifth Ave. Place info and renderings we lost during a hack attack and post in on the thread you started. Francis20 should also have lots of info on it coz he is the official u/c man in the forum Essensa is very close to Fifth Ave. Place. In fact, you can just walk to it in a few minutes. Market! Market! is not far either... You can walk and get there in 10 minutes. The cemetery is right across the street from Fifth ave place. It will be your primary view if you get a unit facing south. And Makati is across EDSA from Bonifacio Global City. You would have to take a taxi to get there. I agree, Ayala Land is a very solid company. Buying a Ayala condo would be a excellent choice. Some of their projects include the Residences, the Columns, etc... Check out the threads in the u/c forum for additional information. |

Maraming salamat GreyX for the welcome. I will try to post in the roll call thread.
I was looking at Ayala condos, as well as Manansala. Masyadong mahal for me. When I was offered Fifth Ave. Place, the price was very appealing. Hope I did make the right choice. Mabuhay to all. |

I heard The Columns is not that pricey...You should check that out. We have thread on it in the u/c forum.
The Residences is quite expensive so that might be out of your list. imo, 5th Avenue Place is a very good choice. |

it depends how much your budget is...and how long could you wait.
im guessing Columns will be turned over by 2007. Im pretty sure its a Good Buy. amenities are great. low monthly amortization...and completion is not far ahead. plus great location. if you got real big bucks for a condo, u might want to buy Pacific Plaza units...there are some more left i guess. GreyX, what about a thread comparing all these condos - amenities wise, price wise, location wise, etc... i can put in a lot of info...plus i got some agents as contacts. well, i gain nothing from it. jsut to to help these fellows looking for units to buy. |

Thanks GreyX and Francis20. That is a very good idea for a thread. It will help prospective buyers. Of course, due diligence is still a must. I know perosnally, it will help me a bunch.
Mabuhay kayong lahat. Best of luck to the election. |

Hey guys... accidentally surfed through this site and found it very helpful specially for me who resides in L.A.
I'm glad I could read all feedbacks regarding Fort Bonifacio Global's development. I happened to invests on a couple of condominiums in fbgc and one will be turned over to me next month. The unit is in Penhurst Parkplace, do you guys know of any good designer (competitively priced), because the developer is willing to do it but is charging P6000.00 per sq.meter? Please count me in for discussions and ideas.... Also, to the others that want to try out a good restaurant in FBGC, I suggest CAFE BORA at the MC Home Depot along Kalayaan blvd.... They serve good pasta and pizza and the price is very reasonable plus ambience is great !!!! |

Welcome
heheh, we all accidentally found this forum![]() I dunno of any good designer. You mean interior designer? Maybe someone else knows. Since you bought a unit in Penhurst, maybe you could tell us stuff about it in the Penhurst Parkplace thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=96822 |

u really own a unit up there? great! then u could invite us in, then we'll feast for the opening/turnover of your condo unit. I dunno any interior designer either, but since u asked for it, ill ask my acquaintances if they know someone who specializes on that. but hey, what about yourself doing it? so is it bare? then u do the furnishing yourself?
btw, im guessing Penhurst has a very good view of makati skyline, unless you're unit is facing South of Manila. hopefully, u coud invite us, then let's sneak thru the rooftop!

hahaha, thats a great idea. Penhurst's rooftop will offer awesome views of Makati, Ortigas and BGC. I would be great if you can bring us to the rooftop. We can take great pictures from up there.

I know several interior designers, but they're all rather costly. If you were a "close friend" I guess they'd lower their rates a bit, but for casual acquaintances I don't think so. I'll see if I can dig up somebody more reasonably priced. How much are you planning to spend on interiors? An interior designer told me that the secret to getting good results and spending less is to buy things piece by piece, one at a time, and not to rush.

I have been lurking on the Fort Bonifacio site and thought that this was a very well planned district... with its size and potential... I hope that one day a very tall structure will rise in this area that will become an international landmark like the Petronas....

thanx for welcoming me Greyx, Francis20, Juded and Pau p1. Yup, I was able to purchase this unit (actually, one of the last ones...) during the pre-selling (very reasonable priced). I don't think my view is that fantastic as it is in the 12th floor (afraid of heights...) and if I'm not mistaken it's view is either Bonifacio Ridge and or side of the Call Center (not sure of the name). I'm quite not sure of a lot of things because I only visited the construction once when I went home for a vacation last year. I will be visiting on August again to formally receive the unit. And hey, everyone's welcome to come over and check out the views from the roof top.
B.T.W. The reason I'm curious about interior designers is because I'm contemplating on either selling this unit bare, or furnishing it then renting it out. Lastly, if you guys want good views then wait till my unit at Fairways Tower gets turned over. This one has the view of Manila Golf Club/Forbes/Dasma and lastly the beautiful Makati Skyline... Now this one is definitely for keeps.... Talk to you again guys... remember I'm on a different time zone (California time....) |

you got unit at Fairways??? You have too much money dude!
what about leasing me one of them? hahaha...i don't have the money for that tho. im guessing Penhurst units will be be leased at relatively high rate...since its at Fort Boni. Fairways btw is still on the process of digging up the foundation. |

not much money here.... really spread thin right now. just my way of contributing to the economy of the Philippines. Yeah right !!! Actually, i really think real estate prices in Manila are a steal right now compared to California. Fairways pay plan is very reasonable too. Have been paying for a few months only, still a long ways to go...
