A HIGH-END hospital patterned after the Makati Medical Center will soon rise in the Ayala property within the Smallville complex in Iloilo City.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said the Ayala hospital is another major investment by the Ayala group in showing its appreciation and trust on his administration.

Ayala already built a multi-million investment property, and the hospital project is another P600 million investment on top of its buildings.

A memorandum of agreement was signed Friday for the hospital to be partnered by a group of local doctors in Iloilo City. (Lydia C. Pendon)

THE grand performance of the world famous Dinagyang Festival next year will most likely be held at the Iloilo Sports Complex.

According to political liaison officer Jeffrey Celiz, Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog disclosed that the 2012 edition is 95% sure to be transferred from the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand at the City Proper to the Iloilo Sports Complex in La Paz district.

Mabilog broached the idea during the highlight of the 2011 Dinagyang to address the lack of space for spectators who wanted to watch the Ati-Ati competition.

The Iloilo Sports Complex has a capacity of more than 20,000 people while the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand can only accommodate approximately 5,000. With the three other performing areas, the maximum accommodation is only for 10,000 spectators.

I go for this... Time to elevate our famous dinagyang a notch higher. A larger venue, for a larger crowd!

Sugar coating and hyping pre? Gusto ko pa tani I post ang Hyundai genesis coupe 3.8 liter (counterpart sang chevy camaro sa Hyundai in terms of specifications) sang friend ko nga ilongga man...
