i saw the picture in an FB page about iloilo and the description states that the whole length that you green Photoshopped is the esplanade. in light of that, thanks for the clarification!

BTW, the Iloilo River Esplanade Phase 2 is from Diversion Bridge to Drilon Bridge only (which is much longer than the Phase 1 and of course has bigger budget, Zynet knows that and a whole lot more )

And I think from Drilon Bridge and beyond, there is a different plan.

Another good thing is if its a local investor, once the project sells well or do great, he/she will more likely invest in the same locality.

Case in point: Injap, with the initial success of PC, he followed it with Injap Tower, and then with The Uptown Place. So, with regard to Gold Fields, more likely if the reception of One Front Tower is good, then expect a bigger and taller sequel.

Same can be said about Go of the Highway 21 Hotel, Century 21 Hotel, Smallville 21 Hotel and now Diversion 21 Hotel fame.

And perhaps all the others, this generally applies to other businesses in the city too. (The only time they expand out of Iloilo is if the market becomes to small for their business that it is inevitable to seek new areas for business like expanding in surrounding provinces in the region)

Yup, and when people thought that Iloilo isn't yet ready (some would say no market at all) for this kind of business venture, lo and behold, Injap proved them wrong! Now, he is the 1st one to benefit from the Condo Craze in the city... imagine 3 condos in succession?

And I think other blue chip players in Iloilo would be too stupid not to notice. As we speak here, plans and blueprints has been passing through different hands. Expect a full scale Condo Wars soon among local players...
