You notice the the entrance gate with the lions?
I haven't heard or seen much about the palace. Is the lion gate restored? I have seen a lot of the photos of some of the interior restoration, and from looking at this photo, that was quite an accomplishment.

Nice picture - looks like a trabat car lot. Always wanted one of those.

Grosser Garten

I think it is called the Palais Grosser Garten, If I am wrong please correct me. Have they done any more work on the interior restoration and those fantastic ceiling murals?

I hope something will happen to the chimneys. They were supposed to be constructed in a historical shape as well.
And I have to admit, that this new quarter looks more artficial than all the others built before, even though it is of course beautful (except the modern fillers).

More artificial than all others? Really? To me it looks perfectly fine and finally truly Saxon?! This quarter could be in Pirna, Meissen, Torgau or Wittenberg... all the small Saxon towns look exactly like this (minus the modern fillers).

Beautiful, beautiful! Doesn't look fake at all to me, just brand new. There's a big difference. And P÷ppelmann is coming!

One of my favorites, look how charming Schlo▀stra▀e looks now.

great impressions - at least partially. I just don't like this concrete-insulation-combination which can be seen on some imgages.
