its so beautiful, this just shows that you can still build those beauties!
That is REAL architecture, the inrichment of detail to the structure shows the peoples work into it.
The modern architecture that will be hidiouse in ten years cannot stand up to this beautiful architecture. It looks like its been there forever, its amazing! I am sooo moving to Dresden! =D

Yes, the are. They are good to handel and insulate very well.

Unfortunaley originally, those houses were not built with that kind of bricks, as those bricks were produced from the 50`s on, and these buildings were much older...

This project is not only amazing because it is reconstructing a once beautiful city, but also because architects and builders are applying skills that are part of architectural heritage. Heritage is not only the buildings that are left, but the skills that are passed down to the next generations, even tho in this case they are using new materials.
