I wouldnt mind having that NYSE proposal here in Chicago. It speaks to me. Hmmm, I wonder if it could be resurrected?

Those Valencia things look ugly too - sometimes people criticse "box designs" but cmon...I'd rather have those classics than that any day of the week!

The new Freedom Tower looks like it incorporated some of the elements of the NYSE tower (which looks great). I like the proposed Milan towers. I'm not sure about the London Bridge Tower. There are so many modern skyscrapers under construction or planned in London, it'll change the cityscape...

The first towers posted in this thread are very nice. I love the LBT-my favourite proposal anywhere in the world atm. It's a shame that NY tower is cancelled. Would have been an icon.

LBT has many pre-lets...and out of all the proposed London scrapers LBT is the most likely to happen.

When will the LBT start construction? How many scrapers are under construction in London right now? Im just wondering because i have seen a pic of what CW will look like in about 2 years(2008) and its trice the size of what it is today...how are they able to buil so many towers in such short time??

Not very tall - only about 70m - but I love the proposed rennovation of Philip Johnson's New York State Pavilion form the 1964 World's Fair in Queens, NYC.

It's in dire need of repair!!!

It is still on the run, I read about it on the Frankfurt city hall site, but they are still waiting office spaces to raise again.
