Erection of Tower Crane using 25ton Mobil Crane parked at 2 nd storey in progress.

The front Jib of Tower Crane is being lifted using Mobile Crane

Fixing rebar for Beam & Slab is being carried out at 3 rd storey ( Tower Block )

The Carpenters are very busy running to complete the remaining beams & slab formwork to hand over to steel fixers.

Erection of form work at 3 rd storey are completed in partial

Consultants and SPACE`staffs are carrying out joint inspection the outstanding safety items which have been rectified.

The construction joint of Beams and Slab at 3 rd storey slab is properly done.

Local and Foreign Erector are busy running to complete their work before Sun-set so that heavy equipments/materials to handle safely.

Electrical Conduit pipes are laied as per drawing accordingly at 3 rd Storey Slab.

The carpenters are doing erection of formwork for service-lift and core-wall.

All columns of 3 rd sty at Sectot ”B” completed and formwork and rebar work leading to 3 rd sty in progress.

The M&E Workers are doing installation of pipe sleeve for plumbing & sanitary and laying conduits for electrical works.

Casting of 3rd sty Podium ( Car-Park ) Slab in Progress

Rebar, formwork & casting of columns at Swimming Pool area in progress.

I take it this is part of the Oberoi complex?

was a part of oberoi .. but i think oberoi was bought by sm1 else .. now not sure ...

Oberoi became Colombo Plaza a few years ago and is now the Cinnamon Grand.

I was in Colombo just two weeks ago... didn't take any pics, but the Monarch is being builty verrrryyy slooowllly.... must have only been up to the 9th or 10th floor; no cladding is visible yet.

Nah, Its up to the 16 or 17th floor. Here are some Updates.
