Queenspark akan secara rasmi dibuka bulan ogos.

The retail units in the east coast's largest fun centre, QueensPark SportzCity & Boulevard, which is scheduled for official opening in August, are now open for sale.

Kristana Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Chai C.Y. said the centre which has a three-storey specially designed building, offered 32 shoplots and 40 stalls.

"Our price is very reasonable from as low as RM500 up to RM690,000, and the Bumiputera will enjoy a 10 per cent rebate," he told reporters today.

The RM35 million QueensPark SportzCity & Boulevard in Tanjung Chat here is the first and largest of its kind in Kelantan, incorporating sporting activities, cultural and arts experience, music, entertainment, recreational, local and international food and alfresno dining.

It has a 36-lane bowling centre, a snooker centre which can accomodate up to 40 tables, a swim centre, a FIFA standard futsal court, a roller skating rink and many more.

"It will become the best and most popular sports centre for fun in Kota Baharu," Chai said.

He said QueensPark SportzCity & Boulevard also was near town, the commercial hub and the Kelantan Cultural Park Complex and the Tengku Anis Recreational Park.

He said the centre could accomodate between 3,000 and 5,000 people at any one time. -- Bernama

Tune Hotels Labur RM907 Juta Bina 30 Hotel Di Seluruh Dunia

-BERNAMA

"The Dome" to hit West Asian mart

Published: 2011/07/13

KOTA BAHARU: Kelantan's biggest date producer Omni Mal Agencies Sdn Bhd plans to penetrate the West Asian market soon through it
innovative packaging called "The Dome".

Omni Mal Managing Director Chua Hock Tee said The Dome was a steel can shaped like a mosque's dome decorated with exclusive patterns.

He said the company came up with the unique dome-shaped packaging to distinguish its dates from the rest in the market and to explore bigger markets, especially West Asia where the Arabs introduced dates from when commerce began to connect human civilisations.

"Our wish is to expand our date business globally but our biggest

satisfaction is when our product that originated from West Asian countries becomes a hit in those countries," he told Bernama here today.

Omni Mal imports its dates from Iran.

Chua said only two types of dates were packaged in The Dome -- Ajwah and Mariami dates that had been poured with Habbatus Sauda oil.

Each airtight can, filled with between 250 and 400 grammes of the dates, was also suitable as a gift, he said.

Omni Mal that operates in Pengkalan Chepa near here, started in 1999 as a trading company that imported quality goods from the Middle East for packaging at its premises.

Its earlier brands were Gurun Emas, Date-Licious and Suri 2020.

In 2010, it introduced products like Arab tea, Arab biscuits, Arab sweets and instant fruit juices from Saudi Arabia under Deemah brand.

To date, Omni Mal runs over 400 outlets nationwide including in the KLCC and supermarkets like Jusco, Mydin, Tesco, Isetan, Cold Storage, Pacific and Giant. - Bernama
