Russia Tower has been redesigned

Mirax proposal is not Russia Tower, but another project.

New design for Russia Tower has been approved by mayor of Moscow today. From several designes, where tallest one was 1 kilometer tall, he selected lowest in just 600 meters, architected by Norman Foster. Project consist of three towers merged into one in form of pyramid. So it will be Moscow Shard, but twice taller than one in London

Well, no renderings yet unfortunately. Now it should be approved by public architectural committee.

I see they chose a British architect, good choice. I'm sure the new design will be much better with Foster at the helm.

He means The Shard/London Bridge. Now that the architect is Norman Foster, Moscow will actually get a tower that can compete with the Shard

not like shard, but like diamond of istanbul... i say russian version made by Boris Thor and finalized by SOM is better than this.

Luzhkov rejected 750 meters and 1 kilometer versions saying "We are not chasing for height, but want to build most well organized architecture in IBC".
