8.5

In my opinion the third best skyline in the USA after NY and Chicago and there are also a lot of proposals.

9/10 One of the most underrated skylines in the northeast. With 2 towers above 50 floors and 1 tower above 60 floors being close to construction and old city having a construction boom, Philly may get the needed spotlight again.

To have four 700'+ buildings is not small to me

Plus Liberty Place, 25th tallest building in the world, was 12th when built in 1987
This is not small and normal in my opinion

Philly skyline has laid dormant for a decade now, which might allude to a dulldrum or normality, but it is coming alive again with the St. james, Cira Centre, hopefully One Pennsylvania Plaza, 1441 Chestnut, let's hope cuz Philly has been through a lot and pulled through it all with class

9/10 for me, only behind Chicago and NYC

Philly's skyline?

Symetrical, balanced, layered, overall excellent. The view from the (crumbling) South Street Bridge is inspiring.

Skyscraper aficionados appreciate Philly's skyline, lesser intellects do not.

9.0 I've been all over the world ( I was a travel agent for 25 years), and the view down William Penn Parkway from the top steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum past the Logan Square fountain to City Hall is one of the best I've seen anywhere.

Can someone help me out here? I'm looking for the name of a specific building. I was visiting Philly about 5 years ago when I took a picture of it. It's a tall, brick building of average height (probably federal or gov't building) with two columns of black window pane on bith sides of it. There's a low partition at the bottom of it which is covered with a row of red, white and blue banners and a big American flag in the middle. I know my details are a little sketchy, and I can't tell if it's demolished, but I'm 101% certain that it's in Philadelphia (Independence Hall is in the background), so sorry I can't present a photo. The fine people at phila.gov either think that it's non-existent or that I'm pulling their legs, so I hope someone here can prove my point; i'd appreciate it (skyline's an 9, btw)
