Portland Condos

So Portland seems to be a little under represented here in the West Coast forums... here are current condo projects either under construction or in the works in my town. Forgive the crappy quality of the pics- just thought I'd get them up and then I'll try to find better ones.

24th Place:

1300 Park Avenue:

1620 Broadway:

Benson Tower:

Block 34:

Cronin Block:

The Eliot:

The John Ross:

The Meriwether (2 towers):

The Meriwether U.C.

The Metropolitan:

Oak Tower:

The Pinnacle:

The Casey:

The Civic:

The Strand:

The Waterfront Pearl:

Riverscape:

I don't think this is all of them.. but it's all I feel like posting right now. Way to go Portland!

That's awesome. So much happening. I like The John Ross the best I think. But I wonder why Portland opts for lower residential towers (teens and 20s) rather then higher stuff as seen in all the other west coast cities.

Keep us updated!

Yeah, the South Waterfront should be cool... a second (or third) skyline for Portland! I wish I knew more about why they keep the heights of the new towers lower than other west coast cities.. I do know PDX's height restrictions are strict, and that they try to preserve views of the surroundings.

The South Waterfront development:

A couple of new proposals:

Atwater Place:

The Alexan (Trammel Crowe)

The Casey

* There have also just recently been proposals released for one 325' tower in the west end of downtown and another 32+ story building for the SoWa, similar in height to the John Ross...

Go Portland!!

Yay! Portland is being rebuilt nicely.
Those areas were one of the ghettoest ones only about 7-8 years ago if I remember correctly.
