World's Tallest Cheats

I think we have a new champion. A 240m condo that claims to be the world's tallest residential building @ 322m. 82m of pipe. Reminds me of Atlanta.

If the Freedom Tower gets built, then it will definately be the world's tallest cheater.

Petronas is the world's tallest cheater, but this is a well known discussion.

Petronas and Taipei 101.

Edit: Is the highest floor in Taipei 101 taller than the highest floor on the Sears Tower?

Taipei 101 is legitimate WTB. All the Dubai towers have massive spires.

Petronas, for me, will always be the worst cheater.

Well, Fordham Spire will be the biggest cheater but will still be tallest to roof. Burj Dubai will probably be a massive cheater too but its roof height will probably be taller than any other building's spire height.

Why would Petronas cheat? We could then simply build one which could easily topple Sears's ranking as the tallest building instead of using those bunch of steal to cheat?

I agree, pure bitterness and ignorance!

Did anyone happen to notice that the "cheaters" are the most beautiful scrapers around?!

of course.

I also dislike the buildings that has a roof height of less than 1000 ft, but with an added spire, it goes over 1,000 ft... A cheating way to be a 1000 footer.

A building that it doesn't cheat=

tall white one. No Antenna, no spire... the Aon building in Chicago
