This is real time picture taken from webcam placed on the Warsaw Financial Center tower 200m north of Zlota 44.
Maybe the picture should be placed in the first post ifwhen construction resumes.



BTW, the date and time shown on the pic are both wrong, though the time is being continuously updated.

Just to post a recent update. The office of mazovian voivodship has to decide whether they find the permit valid or not by september 3rd. Meanwhile ORCO is demanding about €150 for damages caused by the crappy legal system in Poland, as they claim all that was happening here for the last couple of months cost them as much, as they were unable to build.

To przełom w ciągnącej się od kilku miesięcy prawniczej epopei firmy Orco, która jest inwestorem apartamentowca zaprojektowanego przez słynnego architekta Daniela Libeskinda. Wojewoda mazowiecki podpisał w czwartek pozwolenie na budowę, która stanęła 1,5 roku temu.

- Decyzja będzie ostateczna i oznacza, że można wznowić prace na budowie - zapewnia w rozmowie z TVN Warszawa wojewoda Jacek Kozłowski. - Mam nadzieję, że inwestor ma już pieniądze i zacznie prace szybko, bo wszystkim nam potrzebny jest w tym miejscu piękny wieżowiec - dodał.

Taki scenariusz przewidywaliśmy na tvnwarszawa.pl już w czerwcu, gdy sąd nakazał wojewodzie ponownie rozpatrzenie odwołania mieszkańców.

Ruszą przed końcem roku?

Decyzja wojewody jest ostateczna. To oznacza, że gdy tylko dotrze do firmy Orco, na plac budowy będą mogli wejść robotnicy. Czy tak się stanie? Firma zapewnia wprawdzie, że wykonawcy czekają "pod parą", ale dopiero z pozwoleniem na budowę w ręku będzie mogła sfinalizować z nimi umowy.

- Decyzja jeszcze do nas nie dotarła, więc nie możemy jej komentować. Czekamy na oficjalną informację - zastrzega Alicja Kościesza z firmy Orco. Ale zaraz dodaje: - Jeśli ta informacja się potwierdzi, ruszymy z budową w ciągu 8 - 12 tygodni, a więc jeszcze w zimie.

Na Złotej 44 gotowe jest też już nowe biuro budowy. Deweloper ma też ekspertyzę, z której wynika, że przestój nie zaszkodził betonowej konstrukcji. - Są drobne ubytki betonu i przecieki wód gruntowych na podziemnych kondygnacjach. To będzie naprawiane w pierwszej kolejności - zapowiada Kościesza.

Decyzja ostateczna, ale...

To, że decyzja wojewody jest ostateczna, oznacza że Orco może budować. Nie oznacza natomiast końca sądowych perypetii inwestora. Wszystkim uczestnikom postępowania administracyjnego - a jest ich około dwustu - przysługuje bowiem prawo do zaskarżenia decyzji. Siedmioro sąsiadów, którzy walczyli z firmą do tej pory, z pewnością skorzysta z tej możliwości. Co wtedy?

- Sprawa trafi do sądu administracyjnego, który może nakazać wstrzymanie prac. Inwestor na pewno się od tego nakazu odwoła, więc sprawa trafi do Naczelnego Sądu Administracyjnego. Dopóki on nie unieważni pozwolenia, prace będą się toczyć - tłumaczy rzecznik wojewody mazowieckiego Ivetta Biały. I przypomina: - Poprzednio ta procedura zajęła sądom dwa lata. Jeśli inwestor ma pieniądze, przez ten czas zdąży zakończyć budowę.

Orco zapewnia, że budynek będzie gotowy w ciągu 24 miesięcy od wydania pozwolenia. Na Euro 2012 skończona ma być konstrukcja i elewacja

Exactly, ORCO is also suing them for extortion, for demanding luxury apartments in ORCO's tower in exchange for dropping their opposition. Fair and reasonable compensation was in order and ORCO renovated the facade and roof of this nasty commie block to compensate for any losses. Frankly, property values in this building could go up because this part of the city is becoming even more attractive. Those old bags who lost maybe an hour of sun per day could have moved anywhere with the compensation they were being offered but at the behest of their greedy lawyer decided to extort the developer. As they say, cheaters never prosper.
