Not bad... A bit of freshness in our skyline, though I usually prefer a more conventional style.

Heh, I really want my city to finally build something taller than PKiN (Palace of Culture and Science), preferably with roof height exceeding the spire height of the Palace.

Of course, it would be damn cool to have a real supertall in Warsaw (roof > 300m) but this is more than unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future.

Wow! I like it a lot! Actually looks really cool.

It reminds me of one tower in the US that was never built. Denver maybe? Um.. I dunno.

No date have been set yet, I am guessing next summer cause the permit has not been issued by the city.

Libeskind's designs are getting very tired. Instead of refreshing, I find his attempt to be avant-garde totally trite.

I guess there will be sometimes until the construction actually starts.

^ the leases on the building to be torn down are up in summer of 2006.
The city still has not issued a permit and warsaw mayor became country's president so this might potentially slow down the bureacratic process. Anyways, I believe that the heavy machinery will appear somewhere around June/July. Sales are going good though, according to the polish forumers.

cheers

Interesting design!
The facade reminds a bit of the bottom of the new Freedom Tower.
