you know, I thought by looking at your region map that your main city is right on the waterfront, but I see it's not.

you could look into how much property values would increase in your main city with waterfront there...just a helpful idea.

cool idea, I've pondered the same myself at times, but I think I will just stay with a single major city in this current Metro of Stafford County.

I'll keep an eye on your thread here to see what updates, I have no doubt that you will be joining some other top cities here on SSC.

Any issues, please share them because we all learn from others gameplay as well as ourselves.

So, there are my plans (for next weeks), what and where to build in Wiorkowo:

A-international airport (a little bit bigger than i draw i think);
S-international seaport (and industrial area);
R1-R$$/R$$$(medium and low density) with medium density CO and CS, manfacturing and hitech;
R2-mediun and high (near the shore) R$$$ with hotels and offices;
R3 and R4-medium and low density R$$, some manufacturing and hitech, surermarkets, etc.
Any sugestions?

I think that terrain for 'S' isn't so good for industry (it's hilly), maybe better place is above R1?

I agree with Dzon:
'S' is not the best place for industry nor int'l seaport. You should make it in one of those medium-sized maps above 'R1' on the right bank of the river (in what forms kind of a bay): more space, flat terrain, better possibilities of links with the rest of the metro (don't forget that an highway is very important for your industrial area, rail transportation as well).
Otherwise 'R2' is perfect for making a shore with looooooong beaches and highrises in seafront.

BuffCity's take...

R1 (the northern part of the section) would be the best location for the seaport facility and major industrial center, it's flat and located close enough so that it could be linked thru rails and expressways.

The International Airport can be placed anywhere, but the closer in commute it is to your Commercial core...the better it is for business.

All the remaining sections, residential for sure.

can't wait to see what you end up doing here.

it's amazing how a mayor of a city can come to other mayors and guide his city in the best possible direction. Not to say he is undermining his own knowledge, but rather using his connections to make his city perhaps...flawless?

You have right, mayors Seaport and major industrial area will be here (Portówka - district in yellow, this flat, sandy terrain,):

Near seaport will be small getto, i think about 50k (28k now) Sims.

Are those huge skyscrapers in the CBD of pogodno plopable or did they grow? Or both?

-and if you have a tip to get them to grow, could you tell me?
