Compared to Carlos aka TowersNYC's construction pics above of August and then today's 20th Sept, it is definitely moving fast. The construction pic of Carlos' of the above mentioned for 20th Sept, looks like a combo of both concrete floor plates 'n load bearing columns and steel.

I find this unique as most scrapers in NYC either recently completed or now under construction are using mostly steel if not all steel to construct load bearers and particularly the floor plates.

BTW TowersNYC, thanks for the great renders and construction pics. Onya mate (Aussie slang)!!

BTW New York City forumers, for the sake of of Aussie, UK/European and other countries' forumers that use the metric system, for future use, could you also include the heights of the scrapers in metres, esp in the titles?

In this case 471ft = 144m...FYI 1ft = 3.27m

Sure mate, thats understandable. The default for this forum is to only show threads from the last month. To find threads from before that you have to change the options at the bottom of the page.

Anyway great design. It's really shot up in the last month.

Man, these towers go up quick in NY. It's almost like a race between the different projects.

I'm liking the glassy look of this one. Somewhat reminiscent of The Orion. Though this one would look better with more metallic-looking window frames, though. Still, looks very nice so far.
