The diamond shape and the curving lines on the minaret-towers deserve attention , including interior elegant tiles. Edirne needs more curiosity. Good job Kuvvaci , as many others.

Wow. It looks good, and I had never heard of this mosque before, what is its original name?

Sherife is the balcony of the minaret. When in old times, imam would get on it call people to pray ("namaz") by reading the "ezan" out loud. But of course today, they use megaphones, but we still build sherifes.

This historic mosque's one of the minaret has 3 sherifes. Name is coming from that.

Why 3 'Sherif' - is it to show wealth or power or some other reason?
The Blue Mosque has 3 also.
I also notice the Aya Sofya has only 1 Sherif but also has one minaret a different colour. Any reason behind this?

I don't know the reason but there are different mosques with 1, 2, or 3 sherifs.

Hagia Sophia's minarets were all built by different sultans, at different times. All of them have different style. One totally has different color, two have similar designs.
