I visited Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia for the first time last month. Malaysia as a whole is a great country. Kuala Lumpur, primarily because of the skyscrapers, was nice to see as well. However I didnīt completely like the city. It has a enormous amount of traffic with big traffic lanes going criss cross through the city. Also beforehand I was told KL has a lot of greenery and parks. However I barely saw any and the ones I saw had lot of construction and cut treestumps. Only real park I saw was at KLCC but also this park is being diminished by construction.

However much I like all these skyscrapers, KL should think of overall planning of the city, do something about the traffic and preserve or even increase amount of parks and greenery. With all these 200m+ buildings there should be enough space left at ground level.

Kuala Lumpur is currently undergoing a massive construction of an Mass Rapid Transit, that is why there's some issue with the trafic. The Park at Klcc is a bit affected by the construction of the fairmont, but the good news, the park will be restored to the original condition once the whole fairmont complex complete.

I assume you missed out Perdana Botanical Park and Bukit Nanas Forest Reserved measuring at 91.6 hectares and 9.3 hectares each. Both are located in the heart of the city.
