i am a chinese, i swear most chinese people hold friendly attitude towards india. we still have to learn something from india as for software industry. but i read from newspaper india not so friendily to china, is that right?
i think india should cut down the military expense , and turn into infrustructure . i am quite sure there will no war between india and china for many years.
needn't reply, not offense, hope you never mind.

last time I was travelling to Gangtok via Siliguri the road was horrible ..... a bridge broke down and we had to cancel our trip bcoz the authorities told it ll take 2 day for everything to get repaired ...localites told me its not an exception but a norm .... and yes it was a National Highway....

Yes there has been recently good highways but they are mainly centred around Rich cities and UTs like Delhi , Mumbai Chandigarth Bangalore Pune etc but in majority of the country(not only UP and Bihar) the highways are in a horrible state.
Th0e transport infrastructure in Indian is actually a major prob for its development....I little rain makes India's most develped city -Mumbai flooded with water and any vehicle can hardly move...any one who watches news about India can see the reality

Moreover the number of cars per capita in India(as well as China ) is one of the lowest in the world ...India has 6 cars per 1000(china 8/1000) population in moderately developed countries (poland , Hungary ,bulgaria ,brazil Russia ) the figure is above 100 while in developed countries the figure is from 350 to 750/1000 population

You dont measure development based on the number of cars on the road. A high number of indians tend to use a motorcycle as it is more convenient as indian roads are heavily congested in the cities due to the high population. What is this with comparing statistics of developed (western) countries with india and china, we all know india and china are not developed yet, and we all know that india and china have societies that are very different from the west, and how they develop will be different. Think of it this way, my parents are from sri lanka (we left due to civil war). I am sure the quality of life there is "measured" and ranked fairly low compared to the world, how ever my parents and all my family members who grew up there tell me that they had a more relaxing and better life there (before problems) then here in canada. And its not like our families are struggling here in canada, were pretty well off, and we werent considered rich in sri lanka either. Its not all about gdp per capita and money, you dont need alot of money to be rich in certain asian countries, its more about family and the social life.

donot you ever think about how many people india and china have.
china ranked the second place of the total freeway length in the world by the end of 2003(donot forget those roads except freeways). however more and more freeways are being built. but china still have traffic jam problem. the chinese gov now is trying to control the growth rate of the private cars. if china gets more than 100 cars per 1000 population, what will china look like then??

you are a student so plz say something using your mind not only mouth

My mind says ...where knowledge is bliss many a times ignorance is taken to be a sign of profundity....and this is for you people who consider that they are no more students .

Just one thing ....My criticism was more against India than China ....what made you all Chinese flock up in protests against comments against a person whom you consider a "Student " ? just ask yourselves who is acting mature and who is immature?

You know I read in history books such claims were prevelent during Mao and Stalin ....

"Dont dare to tell anything against Communisim else your head will be cut off /you will be sent to Siberia...you dont know how great is Coimmunism"

I am surprised such type of mentality is still prevelent in a more polished way among some Chinese like you .....Learn to face criticism ...its 21st century
