Wrong section. Try the skybar to discuss which middle income region out does the other.

very true,bc if you count countries with smaller population things change..
eg. cyprus
800,000 pop. approximately
7,000,0000 pax approximately

ratio=8.75

That's a very high ratio. I would suppose many vacation islands post exceptionally high PAX to population ratios. Places like Jamaica, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Malta, the Maldives, etc.

For larger nations, I believe Switzerland's is quite high. Zurich (20.6) and Geneva (10.6) alone already would equate to 30.9 million. With 7.5 million people, the ratio is already passed 4. I imagine that these 2 airports dominate, but there are surely other small ones.

Thank you, but I've been posting here for years. As far as I know you're not a mod Anyway, you can always provide the ratios airports / population from your country as I have done. That would be a nice way to contribute instead of telling others what to do

i substracted the number of tourists from the total number of passengers for cyprus,its 7,000,000-2,500,000=5,000,000
this still gives a ratio of 6,87!!!!wow!!

Sorry, it wasn't meant as an order, but a suggestion. We all get side tracked sometimes, and this was veering way off topic. I don't need to be a mod to do that. They're busy enough anyway. As far as contributing, I did give the PAX to population ratio for my country, and proceeded to ask if someone had more.

I think Spain and Australia were done already, any one else?

NYO is the lowcost carrier airport situated 100km to the south of Stockholm, it's actually by the city of Nyköping but no one knows about that city so i wrote Stockholm. Ryanair use it as a hub and advertise it as Stockholm but as with Frankfurt Hahn (130km) it's really bogus advertising.

There is actually a forth airport, Stockholm-Västerås (120km) with 2 flights a day to London.

What's up with the fast-growing Munich Airport? Does anyone have facts and figures for 2007 already?
