Also don't forget Bangkok DMK and Chongqing for the Top 50 race. They are the next one knocking on the door to enter this "club" of the top 50 in the coming months/years.

What's behind Shenzhen (and Guangzhou) disappointing growth rates compared to elsewhere in China Mainland?

Shenzen and Guangzhou are beside each other and are very well served by high speed rail too.

Hong Kong is also close

What means the green coloured cell in the column before the last? I thought it was "max data of its history" but it can't be that in the case of Beauvais.

SGN received an estimated 32.6 million passengers in 2016 (a 22% increase from 2015) with 11.8 million international passengers (+14.8%) [source]

If it continues to grow at the same rate, chances are it might join the top 50 as early as next year, although it's already operating way past its designed capacity of 25 million pax/annum. I guess we'll see.

Edit: SGN does have plans for 2 new terminals to expand to 40-50 milllion passengers but no timeline is in sight atm.

It won't. The government told Vietnams airlines they can only buy 90 new frames between them over the next 4 years last month. Hard cap.

They will allow 24 hour operations in SGN and Hanoi as they have no choice now but the frantic growth rate in SGN and Hanoi is over I think.

Sooner or later SGN could get into the top 50 with an entirely new airport (if they close the current SGN). No sign of that now but things can change fast in Vietnam.

Is SEA's traffic that seasonal? Traffic fell off of a cliff two months ago.

Yah!

I know..but they built a new airport in Hanoi and did not close the old one. I said"if" they close the old SGN for that reason.

Spanish AENA airports data have been published (all the spanish airports):

http://www.aena.es/csee/ccurl/265/52...embre_2016.pdf (1st page for december, 2nd page for the whole 2016)

Madrid: 50.420.583 (+7,7%)
Barcelona: 44.154.693 (+11,2%)

All the airports of Spain over 2mill pax/y have increased their pax more than 7% in this year and most of them had a double digit increase.
