Very elegant and if i know Buenos Aires the quality of building materials will be high (unlike the fake wood floors you get in the USA or overpriced marble countertops there as well)

The main question... What are the prices of the units and when do they become available? The last major project on Libertador Avenue sold out before it was even built with the avg. price of each unit selling for US$2 million.

Well, actually it's already on sale. It was presented last week at the Real Estate Expo in Buenos Aires; with an incredible showroom decorated in a 1930's fashion.

It has a website ( www.chateaulibertador.com.ar ) there you can watch all the units; the prices are 2000 US dollars per sq meter.. or something of the sort.. so a 500m2 apt would cost a million dollars. But it's quite cheap within international standards..
Plus, this is not the most expensive part of Libertador Ave.. remember this avenue is like 10 km long!!

And in 2 weeks the CHATEAU PUERTO MADERO will be launched. Two towers even taller than this one and in a more expensive district.

I don't know about other cities, but here in Toronto there were a number of this
type of faux-historical "posh" condos built in the 90's. Dated looking now, though.
And they always had either copper or fake copper Mansard roof-lines.

There are varieties of this style all 'round town.. Rosedale, along St. Clair,
that awful faux Parisien one downtown.. I'm glad the trend is over.

im normally averse to faux classicism but i have to admit that the level of detail and craftsmanship on this tower make it extremely handsome.
