 can't believe this thread dated back a couple of years ago and now we're seeing legit evidence that it is indeed coming!(but with the new Simcity coming up, what am i gonna do with my SC4 with a brick-ton of plugins?  )

Cities of old versions look like cartoony cities, even simcity scocieties, cities xl. Maybe they produce for children, not for adult. Adult should "play" 3d Max, Auto Cad, Cinema 3D... They don't want to produce game for adult, i think so.

This is just concept art, so it makes sense it's a bit cartoony, we'll see the real game come Wednesday at GDC in all likelyhood

It seems like a real sim city game but two things worry me.
First, the current trend of "pay per play" gaming like paying for updated content, dlc and such. Expansion packs were fine because they were limited but now they can charge small amounts for anything or everything. Second, they decided to include the director of that silly propaganda movie in the announcement, so I hope they don't turn the game into an exercise in indoctrination. Edit: Also it appears to only be for PC at the moment, which is a problem because the last time I owned a PC was back in the time of SC4. Last edited by isdmd10; March 7th, 2012 at 04:41 AM. |
