Hm I think SimCity 5 should have some cool buildings like churches or museums or old-styled architecture. I love the multiplayer facet of the game, although let's see if it's successful... I also think SimCity5 shoul contain european architecture and urbanism... so that you could create dense-looking cities with a diferent identity from all of the suburban-like, car-cntered cities that we've been forced to create in past games.

I hope they bring back that feature from the Sim City 3k series. I liked being able to choose between Euro/American/Asian building styles. I hope the changes will also reflect on the cars and streets as well, so we can work with less modding ect...

That is what I would like to confirm. Because in the info on this game, it is released for The PC!

Preview: SimCity for PC

It's perhaps testament to the longevity of the SimCity series that an otherwise insignificant morsel of news regarding such a minor gameplay addition would grab the attention of gamers worldwide. But the roads, you see, they're curvy.

It will probably be released on the mac a half a year after the PC version, just like simcity 4.

Maxis almost completely contracted the Mac port to another company, they'll probably do the same with SC5 IF they decide to release it on Mac.

I'm still skeptical about SimCity 5 - EA publishing a AAA game requiring a brain to play in 2012? Cannot be true.

You should follow the subsection on simtropolis about SC5. There have been several video's about how basic things in SC5 work and it looks this game is very real:

Maxis is gonna need about 1,000 preset buildings in SC5 just to keep up with SC4 mods lol. So excited!!

No it doesn't. The 360 has been holding back games almost since it's launch.

Can't wait

I agree we need all the diagonal stuff and zoning would be great too (i.e.: business district, semidetached housing, old medieval town, etc..)
