I know this is asking a lot, but can someone make a list of all the lines, plus their rolling stock, plus the percentage of capacity they are at?

I ask this because I have the feeling there are many Chinese metro lines that use rolling stock that quickly turns out to be too small. I am also wondering why they don't just go with A-size right away (I understand B or C size are cheaper, but having to adjust everything from B or C to A after just a few months or years is even more costly.

I think I posted this awhile back in the Shanghai Metro Thread

Shanghai busiest sections 2012:
Line 1 94.7% 8 car A size limited to 2.5min per train due to crap signals
Line 3 106% 6 Car A size limited to 5 min per train due to Line 4 interlining
Line 5 109% 4 Car C size
Line 6 133% 4 Car C size relieved by Line 12 so could be less... or more due to network effect
Line 7 101% 6 Car A size
Line 8 102.7% 7 Car C size
Line 9 89.7% 6 Car A Size

Source

I'll do Beijing Tomorrow

It's already 2015 and I haven't seen any photos of the new stations. Same goes to Chongqing, Shanghai and Wuhan.

There are some pictures in ditiezu but not sure about the policy for linking there, and I think they constrain hotlinking.

Guanzhuang station? Wasn't that on Batong line? It seems there are now two stops called Guanzhuang in pinyin (But not in hanzi: 关庄 vs 管庄). They should do something to tell both stations apart, like they did in Guangzhou with the Xiaogang and Xiao-gang stations, or with the Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces.

I wonder why they have called the terminal station of line 14 Shan'gezhuang when Shangezhuang (without apostrophe) works perfectly. I would understand if the station name was Shang'ezhuang...

Wouldn't that involve building a brand-new infill station on Line 13 about 850m north of the existing Wudaokou station? And then providing an underground connection to the Line 15 Qinghuadongluxikou station about a block east at Qinghuadong Road and Wangzhuang Road?

A streetview image from March 2014 shows a large blue barn-like structure at the relevant spot on Line 13 - not sure if this is related to the possible construction of the infill station:

I don't like it that they are building moskow style stations in Beijing ,they should build more traditional Chinese styles. there are enough ugly looking soviet union buildings in Beijing already

What is the connection between ugly soviet buildings similar to Khruschtcev époque and under-stalin built stations-palaces in Moscow metro?

I like it a lot. Yet there's somethig that can't let me call it beautiful.

I think the apostrophe is appropriate.

Still it is quite close to let's say pre-post-war period.

The only thing that doesn't allow to call this station beautiful is that it's sides are still high tech. Hey should have built all classy, not only the central part.
