Frankfurt looks very 'new yorkish' on these photos.
What can make a city more qualified for the Europe's no. 1 skyline? |

Hamburg for example had ca. 49% green (parks, forests, agrocultural areas) and water space in 1996 and I think it hasn't changed so much since then. The free space in the Hamburg figure is not counted here, because the responsible office here mixes built and free space. |

frankfurt, got to be honest
2 is paris la defense, very impressive one. you have to see it in real life , because on the pics you dont see the massive scale of it. 3 maybe warsaw. i like it from the pics 4 london. although very beautiful its not impressive at all , canary warf looks like a small CBD compared to la defense when you walk in it. but from the distance, its nice. 5 rotterdam. i love rotterdam and it will only get better. the future NYC of europe

The only advantage Paris would have on Frankfurt would be the density, the "urban feeling". Frankfurt towers are far of one another, there's no canyon effects in Frankfurt. In Paris you can find this around the Northern part of the Boulevard Circulaire. But I agree with you Rocky that this little advantage from La Défense is really few compared to the class of Frankfurt's scrapers. |

I think London is so overrated. Yes it has quite some height and quite a few skyscrapers, but the city itself is so big, that there isn't any real density! And that is something I definately think that it should be in a skyline, some density... I think Paris, Frankfurt, Rotterdam, Warsaw, Istanbul and Vienna all have a better skyline.

Paris by far, La Defense is better than any european cluster, and on top of that Paris has many other clusters as we have seen in the pics above.
Since no one, surprisinly, have posted any pics of London i will post a few: ![]() ![]() ![]()
