People generally don't 'hang out' under the gardiner unless they're vagrants. You wouldn't spend more than a minute crossing underneath it, and that's taking into consideration the crosswalk.

Just wondering why we are always catching falling concrete in this "boom" thread lately, when an 800 foot office tower near King and Bay wil start construction in 2 months?

That news seems more suited to the the thread, no?

79 Wellington Street West [Toronto-Dominion Centre] - 504 ft. 39 floors
Ernst & Young Tower [Toronto-Dominion Centre] - 437 ft. 31 floors
Canadian Pacific Tower [Toronto Dominion Centre] - 420 ft. 32 floors
I really have a annoying from your message when you said "Exchange Tower - 502 ft. 36 floors" and I know Exchange Tower have only 30 floors or 479 feet then I really confused it but I have to ask all ... Exchange Tower ... really at 502 feet or 479 feet?

IIRC, it was listed around 479, and someone along the way it was reported by someone to actually be taller - the roof structure was not included in that height.

I'll ask around and see if anyone can get more specific.

Don't forget it is not even including the downtown CBD... this is
just up toward midtown.

In order to have any "peaks" in that picture you would need a 600+ft tower because a lot of those buildings are already extremely tall even though they don’t appear that way in the photo.

Ofcourse that's downtown (CBD). The Bay building is at Bloor, and you can see Cityhall which is on Queen. Yonge & Eglinton is pretty far. The MINT however is not in this picture, don't get the MINT and the CBD mixed up.

I meant the cluster of office towers at King/Bay (MINT). I didn't know the
Central Business District included Yonge and Bloor.

I didn't take the shot. There are plenty of parking lots to be filled. Still lots of potential!
