Here's some pics from May 2....much of the work on pier F is now on the inside....

north side of the pier is pretty much done...

on the south side, work continues...

after the pier opens in early 2007, the rest of old Terminal 2 will be demolished...

Is pier G going to be built right after T2 is demolished, or are they going to wait for traffic to rise??

Quantum is going to become another ROCP due to its area. It has nothing of similar height in its area and is over 500 feet tall.

I thought RBC and Ritz were starting construction in June or July.

Now its not beginning construction until fall. Or is this pouring of concrete what we deem the start of construction, not the actual excavation of the land?

That's a good list Skybean, but why are 1 King w. and Pantages in there?

It is probably showing change over 5 years or so and new additions.
But the more realistic reason is to boost our numbers to make the list seem more impressive. Unfortunately, it is uncertain how many of these will go up. Maybe none at all.

Trump is taking so long to sell. I suppose Toronto is just not a premier tourist destination.

Nice list Skybean. As for the GTA, I guess you can also throw in the Marilyn (50 Storey Absolute condo), Amacon Missisauga, and the Parkway Forest proposal in NYCC if OMB okays it.

And I think most of the towers on that list will have a good chance to go up. The only I have doubts are 1BE, Sapphire, RA III, and possibly Trump since sales have been slow and reports from the sales centre are mixed up. Hopefully this is the year they will start construction for sure. But I do believe most of the prominent developments will go up starting this year (BAC, Ritz, RBC Centre, etc.) or next year. Shangri-La and Four Seasons should start next year once they start sales. Most of the condos have a good chance of getting built, with the exception of Uptown depending of whether sales will pick up or not.
