Batavia Perkasa Mixed Development, Jakarta

Batavia Perkasa is a $100 million mixed development in Jakarta, consisting two residential towers of 247 residential cum service apartment units, a 37-storey office tower and a 3.5-storey retail podium. Total GFA for this development is approximately 137,000 sq m. CPG-tss has been appointed by PT Greenwood Sejahtera to provide architectural and M&E design services for this development.

The design adopts the idea of reaching for the sky while rooted and celebrating the traditions and heritage of a rich history and culture forms the kernel of the concept for this project. The metaphor of the rice paddies and traditional landscapes of Indonesia are the inspiration for the planning and design for this development. The lens shaped plans of the towers are rooted and derived from the natural profiles of the contours aspiring towards the sky; linking the past with the present and future.

Gross Floor Area: 137 000 square metres
Project Cost: S$100 million
Client: PT Greenwood Sejahtera
Completion Date: June 2007
Scope Of Services: Architecture & M&E Engineering
Awards Won: Chosen from a selection of international architects
Signature was too big and distracting.

Great project - how thin are those towers!!!! Here's another render from the Indonesian thread

Just by counting the floors and assuming the left tower is the office tower, I'm guessing maybe 160m max for the one on the left, maybe 120m for the other two.

Very shard designs. I love these high reflective-facade towers.
