In the list presented in the above link, also the Marina City should have been included. There is a distinct view of the complex in a scene where Batman stands on a building looking at the presumed Gotham city...

Not skyscrapers, but A View to a Kill with Roger Moore as James Bond features the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The chrysler building seems to get destroyed in alot of movies. Do film makers have something against it or something .

Which building is in Ghostbusters? Where dana(sp?) barret lives?

Toronto has been home to many films, including the regrettable Resident Evil movies, where it's cluster is used quite heavily. Also in Johnny mnemonic, and the also regrettable 'The Man', starring Samuel L Jackson, released earlier this year.

Gremlins.....was set on a NYC skyscraper located on Park Avenue !!

was built in 1979-1982 on the site once occupied by the Architects Building (Ewing & Chappell and La Farge & Morris, 1912), built to accommodate architects' offices and exhibition spaces.

The 50-storey office building has a curious split-hexagon form, with the northern half of the hexagon being shifted towards Park Ave. Rising to 188.5 m, the building has a facade of gray glass and dark-painted aluminium grid.

The entrance to the building is situated at the diagonal part facing a plaza at the corner of Park Avenue and 40th Street. Both the plaza and the pillar-flanked lobby -- with a slanted skylight for natural light -- have a granite paving.

The building incorporates 112,000 mē of space and features an energy-saving installation consisting of a supply of 1.9 million liters of chilled water (chilled with off-peak hours electricity) that is designed to cool the building down in daytime.

It's set in the 1930's so King Kong will just have to climb ESB again but even if it was set toady ESB is still the tallest building in NY post 9/11. It's interesting that both previous versions were made soon after ESB and WTC were built - they should have waited 5 years so that he could climb Freedom Tower.

Even if the movie was filmed in 5 years time, it would still use ESB, because it is set in 1933, it is a remake of the original, not the '76 version, it's a remake, a bloody good one at that, been following it since it was announced, Oeter jackson (Lord of the rings) is making it

In the movie "The Bank" Quite a lot of Melbourne's skyline is featured, but mostly it is 120 collins street, as the headquaters of citibank

135 East 57th Street is apparently used as the Osborn building in the Spiderman movies

Does anyone know by any chance what park Spiderman dropped Mary Jane off after the Green Goblin kills the people at the balcony?

It used the Flatiron Bldg as the headquarters for the Daily Bugle, and Tudor City as the residence of the Osbournes.
