Do you think he could of been using a little bit of sarcasm, cause i'd agree with you his response is pretty well "out of the box"

Or "out of the circle"

Where in the West would it fit in the best?

No, ignorance is more bliss.

Dammit, no paid vacations until September 2006. I need a job that actually sends me over to Shanghai.

You won't see much from the lower observation deck because it is narrow and well inside the edge of the building. They should do something more interesting with the observation deck! I prefer the circle with the ferris wheel.

This makes the SWFC look amazing. I'm happy that is a square hole now. Who cares if its not a circle?

Anways, what would the SWFC look like with a ferris wheel at the hole anyways?

Exactly the way it did in all the older renders.

I also agree with you raymond.

I'm happy with what they have done and I estimate the upper observatory to be 1550 ft or 472m. That will be 25m higher than the 447m Space Deck of the CN Tower in Toronto, currently the highest floor level anyone could go to.

The upper observatory on SWFC should easily be higher than the top floor of ICC (US7) in HK.

Only Burj Dubai will surpass SWFC's top floor height level.

Lotta fun, lotta fun.

I agree, but the round hole was better.

The tower looks better with this top.

Some other thread here had a link to download an animation of the SWFC and it looked like there was a ferris wheel type ride going around the circle inside. Can anyone confirm this or whatever it was? I assume that if it's not a circle anymore... no more ferris wheel.

I much perfer the circle over this square. I hope it's not true.

the close up looks ok, but still the whole building would have looked better with the round hole.
