It's quite amazing seeing a city from being flat to sky-high in just 10 years!

The render of 2020 is just conceptual. There are so many buildings currently u/c or even finished left! Take notice of all those supertalls which are as tall as Jin Mao building... It would be great that Lujiazui built 10 new skyscrapers over 300m by 2020. Who knows...

SWFC looks "lower" in the last render just because the "camera" is higher. Perspective

Nah. That 2020 rendering is an old one of how Shanghai was supposed to look in 2010. The 2010 rendering is the most current glimpse of how the area will look.

Exactly, Giallo. There r many flaws in that 2020 rendering, and it is way too far to visualize how 2020 to be look like. U could see by 2020, SWFC ll sink and lower than Jinmao tower. Some existing and towers U/C are suddenly dissappeared. And you can see the white ship could rammed off all the buildings easily. Anyhow, whose cares about the flaw? conceptual is hard to believe.

I don't know, but Pudong just seems to have some sort of disorganised look to it. I guess it's okay. The buildings are cool; I'm not sure how they all work together, though. It's seems like they just think about the building itself and not the impact on the surrounding area when they approve and build them.

Pudong's transformation into a highrise jungle between 1990-2000 is comparable to what Dubai's is presently doing, in my opinion. That riverbend just makes for a stunning location for a skyline comparable to Singapore.
