Not much difference except some changes on the ground work and a little rise from the core.

P/S: The floor steel girders are currently erected in the hidden parts.

BTW What is the FINAL design for the SWFC!?!

What amazes me is that there seems to be very little distruption to the city/ roads during construction

The land on which the SWFC is being developed on is HUGE. Therefore, you don't have to block off roads for construction. THat's the beauty about Pudong although the buildings are too far apart making it non-pedestrian friendly downtown.

I just heard a huge roar from an office block about 1km away and there is a huge dust cloud billowing from the base of the SWFC. I hadn't looked at the south side of the site this morning but there is a huge gap in the scaffold on the south side. The top half of the green shroud is missing and you can see the concrete of the building. It looks like about 7-8 floors worth of scaff has gone and the green canvas looks like it has been torn from the remaining scaff below. It's a bit murky and I can't see that clearly from here. I hope it hasn't just collapsed.
It could be the noise was something else and the scaff had already gone. Don't know yet. I'll post later if anything else happens.

Bit later in the day and there is welding going on. If there had been an accident I guess all work would have stopped so it looks like nothing unexpected has happened.

It would be better if you post some close up pics of the south side u mean. Let's see what's really going on in there.

Any of rendering work here looks better to you?

Inspired from Chinese Flag:

Another plain boxy type?

Or a lesser impact from the hole?

The Chinese-flag one looks outrageously flamboyant. Imagine it at night!

The SWFC with the partially covered hole doesn't look that bad in the rendering...

Is that twisting tower actually going to be built there? I thought it was part of the North Bund project.
