I'll post a "Dubai boom rundown" thread in the world forum which will be a list of all the projects with images, etc... Since there are so many I have to resize them all so it won't take a year to load up. It'll take a while I know but I've got nothing to do at the moment so I might aswell

BTW for those that say this is planned from A to Z it's not entirely. The company behind the masterplan just sells the plots to other developers so the designs of the towers in the renders of the masterplan aren't accurate at all (I'm talking about that giant night time one for example)

Well - I hope that can impose some design requirements so that the outcome is at least as impressive as the renderings. It wuld be a shame if the developers did not live up to the vision.

i really appreciate how all you guys love this project and think it is amazing.
it is indeed one of the best projects in dubai so far.
as most dubai holding projects actually.

but i wouldn't say these towers are tacky.
this is just a different design to the boxes we are used to, it is more various and individual usually.
though some of the towers in dubai are not an architectural masterpiece, but where else can you find burj al arab, emirates towers or ocean heights.

doubt that

anyway maintenance is an issue for sure but this here it is because temp reaches 50 degree and in NY it is because it reaches -10degree which is as bad.

Freezing temperatures are not as bad, because hot weather is more deadly. And when it's cold, it snows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But besides the weather, Dubai is a great place, and this project might shoot Dubai to the level of an Alpha city.
