Isn't the Lippo Centre designed after Koala's climbing up a tree?

The BMW building is my favourite -- it gives a very dynamic visual feel like that of wheels spinning.

I am surprised no one posted Taipei 101. An attempt to make it look like an oversized ancient Chinese tower from central China, personally I don't think it works -- it is just monstrous and ugly because of the dimensions.

Actually the BMW building is supposed to be 4 pistons from a cars engine.

Actually Taipei 101 is designed to resemble a bamboo with 8 segments.
Auspicious to Chinese.

these are basically the best and most interesting buildings! they are all really interesting visually, not like ordinary dull boxes. i love the one in singapore, it must be a nice place to work, as well as contributing nicely to the skyline. the robot is crazy, but again it makes the place look more interesting.

Norman Foster has a lot of very interesting buildings - unconventional and weird in many aspects. The most recent one that comes to mind is Swiss Re in London :

This other building in Hong Kong seems like its top has been sheared off, and an ad forced in as a crown :

Gaudi also has a lot of weird buildings in Barcelona, such as Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, although I'm not sure if both are over 10 stories tall.
