Singapore - the beautiful !
__________________
We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms. That was happiness then. - Harold Brodkey |

Wow. Singapore's skyline is looking ever so great! I think The Sail blends well with the whole skyline...glad haze is over.

Singapore's skyline looks best with sunny skies IMO.
On cloudy days it adopts a more sombre-look....and yes so glad the haze has vanished!

Very nice pictures Raffles!! The Sail is progressing very nicely, already a dominant building. I envy for being able to take photos with so many people staring at you, I just can't do it =X

The problem is, when you are not at marina bay. I was at Tanjong pagar a few days ago, I wanted to talk pictures of the buildings around there but there was alot of pedestrians, so I won't dare to take out my camera and take photos incase they thought I was taking of them or they think i'm crazy

You shoot, if anyone stares at you, pretend you saw nothing, point camera somewhere else, eg to some object or some nice scenery somewhere.

Back when i was still using my old Nikon i could sidestep that problem by using the twisting screen to take pictures secretly, like with the camera on my waist or inside a bag. Now i'm using a DSLR that's no longer possible. It takes time getting used to.
