"Hindu" Skyscraper

This is Capital Tower in Singapore.

Is it a coincidence or do you think the similarity of form is deliberate?

Its top seems to mimic the Hindu Temple nearby (Sri Mariamman Temple):




2nd pic by hya, and heres an animation done by her (she made my avatar as well).

The top is designed to change colour, although of course not as fast as in the animation!

nice pictures! two very beautiful buildings to compare and contrast. I went to Singapore back in 95. Beautiful place! I'm sure the place looks different right now.

The colors change, but not as fast as in the animation? Imagine they do!

Glad you guys like the pics...I like both buildings too, but of course the temple is simply grander and is a national monument.

I think the form is delibrate. But the temple is so much better.
