Yes these are real pictures of a real city. Not fake pictures of a fake city.

Well i agree with you. but the last issue is obviously one nobody is able to answer properly, because there has never been a city like Dubai before.

At the moment considering the amount of problems which can occur in such a huge development, it runs smooth.

Things like traffic, increasing rents and workers right for example, are problems but the govt takes care about this stuff immediately usually.

(For example 15% max rent increase/year has been set this year)

The great renders just keep coming and coming

Nakheel did an overhaul of their site and they've released loads of new info
Check www.nakheel.ae

Anyway here are the renders and now I WANT SOME REPLIES. This is starting to look like skyscraperpage with me posting stuff and noone replying. Here goes:

Dubai Waterfront:

Palm Deira:

Jumeirah Village (Dubai's definitely not sprawl-free )

Lost City (only a masterplan)

^ No body knows, becouse is just an ilustration and it doesn't mean there will be a building with that design in that specific plot.

However Donald Trump has tied up recently with the developer and he has licenced 18 names, including Trump World Tower, so I presume it will be a supertall, maybe the second tallest after Al Burj.

This is a long-term project. Not before 2015 I say and that's only for this part. The whole waterfront might take 15 years to be fully complete. That's a good thing though because by then the population will have grown considerably too.
