Al-Ghurair launches highrise residential project (Goldcrest Isb)

ISLAMABAD: Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, a subsidiary of UAE Group of the same name, with rich experience in development of real estate projects on Thursday launched their high-rise apartments complex here in Phase-11of Defense Housing Authority Islamabad. Named as Goldcrest DHA Islamabad, the project will be built over 40 acres of land, comprising a mix of high and low-rise towers, providing according to Chief Executive Haji Rafiq, a unique range of managed services to its residents not offered in other real estate schemes.

The high-rise towers will be 28-storeyed being designed by leading international and Pakistan-based architects and town planners. The master plan is a blend of modernism and cultural heritage of Pakistan. Landscaped gardens and lawns, featuring ponds and lakes and clubs will surround the luxury towers. Construction is to start within three months and would complete within three years.

Additional features of the project include sports facilities, mosques, swimming pools, captive power generation, air-conditioning, high-speed elevators, modern telecommunications, high-speed internet facility, cable television and range of smart home features to choose from.

The project offers 2 to 4-bed apartments and penthouses with private gym and swimming pools.

Haji Rafiq told newsmen that Al-Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is part of the Al-Ghurair Giga Group of Dubai, UAE and has a long history of developing and managing large real estate projects in the Middle East.

Al Ghurair Giga high rise Apartments Complex launched

Islamabad—Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) has announced to launch their high rise apartments complex-Goldcrest DHA Islamabad. The project is located in phase 2 of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Islamabad. With this the Al Ghurair Group will bring massive Direct Foreign Investments (DFIs) into the country and a new concept of living too.

The Vice-Chairman, Haji Muhammad Rafiq; the President, Zahid Muzaffar and Archtect Tariq Hasan of the AL Ghurair Giga Group explained the salient features of the unique project of its nature in the country at a news conference. They said that the project would be the largest of its kind in the country. In addition to the high quality construction the Al Ghurair Giga will provide a range of managed services to its residents which no other real estate scheme in Pakistan offers. Goldcrest DHA Islamabad will be constructed over 40 acres of land. Its 15 towers will comprise a mix of high and low-rise apartment towers. High rise towers will be of 28 stories.

Goldcrest DHA Islamabad is being designed by leading international and Pakistan based architects and town planners, they said. The non-resident Pakistanis, will be the main beneficiaries of the state of the art housing project in the affordable cost, they said. They went on to say that the master plan of the project is a unique blend of modernism and cultural heritage of Pakistan. The design will encourage a feeling of belonging and a deep sense of community with in the residents.

Landscaped gardens and lawns, aesthetically designed ponds and lakes and clubs would also provide a healthy interaction and promote a sense of participation within the residents. To a question the Architect said Project construction will start within a period of three months and will be completed in three years. The media was told that additional features include sports facilities, mosques, swimming pools, captive power generation, air conditioning, high speed elevators, modern telecommunications, high speed internet, cable television and a range of smart home features to choose from. It was also stated that the Goldcrest DHA would be gated community to ensure safety and security of the residents.

The developers will also provide on an ongoing basis a host of managed services to ensure clearing, lightening and general management of common areas of the complex. The project offers 2,3,4-bed apartments, and penthouses with private gyms, swimming pools. All apartments include spacious balconies, so that the residents can enjoy the breathtaking view of Islamabad.

Zahid Muzaffar told that the Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan is part of the Al Ghurair Giga Group of Dubai, UAE and had a long history of developing and managing large real estates projects in the Middle East.

The Group is highly diversified and holds interests in banking, insurance, real estate developments and management, shopping malls, trading, shipping, gold and silver refining, cement, power generation and de-salination plants, textiles, fashion garments, retailing and a range of other businesses in 32 countries around the world. Soon, he said similar projects would be launched in other cities of the country, Zahid Muzaffar concluded.

Its a huge multi-billion dollar project. So its pretty big, with lots of highrises coming up. It looks small there because its a satellite image of the area.

Not all of it. But some parts would be highrises. The rest would be club houses, commercial districts, golf course, etc.

Those renders are from really weird angles, but from what I can see, it looks like a decent design. Go Pakistan!

only were it says high rise apartments on the map. the rest would be posh expensive houses and commercial areas.
