Hsarks Fat Photo tour of CAPE TOWN

You guys want pictures u’ll get pictures i’ll try post as many pics as can this is 50+ and I’ve resized them nicely so some of our comps won’t have any heart attacks (helkom!) it also shows that there loads of projects in the cbd we haven't posted yet its just that us capeguys are lazy lol :-) cheers

this is my fave development its soo cool how they've kept the his and hers facade

forgot the name of this development but next to it is the

now we get to the mandela rhodes place

this is how the buildings looked before.... quite far with the project know but this what we call being gutted these guys took it to the next level

this is the surronding area how many downtown areas in sa have class like this we many not have the height but at ground level....

highstreet shopping is still the cape buzz in the cape i loveee these buildings

now down to the foreshore *note i've left out longstreet and about 7 new u/c ..because at the time i took these they weren't working on them

The middle bit (this is for spire)

thats the fountain suites and Hotel to your right ....its current underconstruction(scaffolding) being gutted and there working on the landscape outside

The Foreshore
.................................................................................................

icon

was taken sometime back they've added another much bigger crane on the site now...there also on the first floor + 2 huge building thingies

Hotel North Wharf

coming along nicely on the last level to they've add another 5+- floors to these pics

surrounding area

other pics

The Edge

Cartwrights Corner

2 new construction sites behind this building .....as for this building battle between gov and developers coz the want to demolish this building its historic

random pics of the city

the famous St Georges street its really silk what inner city should be like its always buzzing with business men/women cafes ,nice shops like Woolworths etc , lawyers , police on horses ,artist decent street vendors and no hawkers!

The Pinnacle

this is a huge upgrade from what it looked like before even on the inside ...happy to see u've updated it sa boy

i just like red building at the end

2 new highrise+The Metropolis behind this buildng one hasn't started yet about 5 cranes in the area now

Har. Edge

the building is almost complete now

....................................................................................................
between cbd and The Waterfront

this is from the waterfront side there is no physical difference they just jell together together

new development not sure whats its supposed to be

The Waterfront

The one and only "yes please"

its back on track is going to be built somewhere there sol says he wants a 150 room

and we end it off with a view of the mountain ....

Seriously can’t believe it took me an hour to upload this photo bucket systems sucks ....if u want bigger pics u can pm

i know that south africa is a developed country but i never expected it to be like this. the cities are a miz between european and american, the skyline definetly looks american with its architecture but the midrises look european in their design. beautiful city, reminds me of chicago. GO SA!
