what the hell is that??
All these projects are taking starting to take away from region's "wow factor", and making it a "here we go again" factor. dont get me wrong, i luv UAE, but now there's TOO much going on to fully grasp it all.

It is alright to break some rules and think outside of the box of conventional architecture. However, this one is not exactly to my liking. It looks like a large dress or something. All it needs now are some arms and a head. Then maybe it would be more attractive, hehehe.

I think it's totally unacceptable to me, personally,. It's not fit with Abu dhabi at all.

didn't Make design the vortex for london? this just looks like a warmed-over modified version of it.

the illustrations look nice as a demonstration of what can be done with a CAD package, but applying it to the real world and building it is totally different.

well hopefully it turns out better than what it looks like in the renders, especially since it's a dedication to Sheikh Zayed - the founder of the country who passed away last year.

Ugly, but interesting. I'd rather prefer a ugly but daring building than a ordinairy rip-off (some skyscrapers in China and Dubai).

Indeed, it will look alot different in reality to those 'renders' I think it has the potential to be really stunning.
But because it is dedicated to Sheikh Zayed I'm sure the ruling Sheikhs and the general population will make sure it is something appropriate and stunning.
