Lynchburg is located on the James River, about 100 miles west of Richmond. The city was founded by John Lynch in 1786.

I like it. Not bad for a city of 65,000, not to mention the city itself looks very nice and the architecture is refreshing and easy on the eyes. Definitely better than I expected. The layout of the city is good and the river and greenery is very nice. It even has that one tall standout building. I'll give it a 7/10.

lynchburg is awesome, i would like to see roanoke-lynchburg connect in the future to form a dallas-ft.worth type of CSA!! great city!!

Very nice town, and very small skyline But it's not bad for a city of this size - 6/10

The view at night down the stairway to the river is really awesome as well.
I used to live a couple hour's drive from Lynchburg.
