No this was a while back I believe. They've already finished construction and flats are up for sale...

With a huge podium and a moderate height, as well as all of the towers having identical height, this one looks a little stubby.
What Hong Kong towers lacked in stylistic elements they usually made up for with a slender, SLIGHTLY elegant form.

maybe someone can launch a building revolution in hong kong where they emphasize external aesthetics more... that would be fantastic

i actually like this development a lot. even though the tower is designed almost the same way most other developments in hk are (layout...) - you can tell that the architects have put in a lot of effort in refining the elevations and details.
the podium i think is particularly successful and i like the way they disguise the carpark with those 'slanted plates'... and if you look carefully, the granite tiles are also arranged with a random pattern to make it more interesting yet in a rather subtle manner. one thing i'm curious is that are the tower seems to be also cladded with granite...! can anyone confirm that? (quite a costly way of doing it)

The front area of this building is badly wasted. It is a garden, but nobody uses it. The entrance is from the side, and people are lucky if the door is open. That is also the frontage to the harbour as well, but that is also fenced off.

The fire took place during construction, so the completed structure now doesn't show any signs of the fire damage. They're partially occupied now and I believe sales is still occurring.

I've started on a model for SimCity... here is a "module" unfortunately lately I was completely overwhelmed with work and really have no time/force to model for Simcity, but in about a month or so things should ease up and I hope to finish it as well as few other projects. BTW hkskyline... do you by the chance have pictures of Harbor view I and II? Particularly of the base of the complex??

Looks nice to me. Hong Kong seems to like dense residential.

![]() The empty site next to One SilverSea will be auctioned off next month, and possibly another giant skyscraper[s] will be on the way. |
