Wow, that's going to look great. I think Chongqing or Shenzhen are my favorite (mainland) Chinese skylines.

The green vomit of envy. How pathetic for someone afraid of a simple color.

because chongqing is much smaller than shanghai and chongqing is stonily suitable for high density skyscrapers shanghai is Yangtze delta deposit land not suitable for high density skyscrapers.

But they build them anyway, making the city sink.

Haven't been to CQ since the early 90's. It was dumpy back then. :p

yellow one is Yangtze river, water in it already has 3000 km long journey before arrival chongqing, and unfortunatly many factories near this river and the vegetation near whole river is not prefect; clean water is Jialing river, water in it come from Qinling mountant which has several national parks, vegetation is very good, we can even direct drink water in Jialing river in Qinling mountant, some parts of Jialing river the water quality reach national drink water quality. The journey about 1000 km from start to chongqing.

that great project is Chongqing CBD, there are three parts:Jiefangbei Jiangbeizui and Danzishi, each parts has main function. As Jiefangbei for example, it's main fuction is office bank and commerce, in fact Jiefangbei is one of chinese biggest commerce area now, the sale is over 2 billion in last year. Let's talk about skyscrapers, chongqing city crown plan is sub-project of CBD jiefangbei area, the Jiangbeizui also has many great skyscrapers, as i know 1 skyscraper over 300m 4 skyscrapers over 200m even has a great TV tower 470m but i can't find this in this big model so it may be cancled, as one of the 4 municipalities of china there are many consulates in chongqing, all of them will move to international zone located in Jiabeizui area.

IMO, the real chongqing city is much bigger than this model, in this model we can't see new north city Dadukou district and Banan district where support chongqing industry, chongqing big companies and many other companies is here. let me show a sasatellitic photo about whole chongqing city. Many people just think chongqing is Jiefangbei area or Yuzhong peninsula, they are absolute wrong. After all, chongqing is one of chinese biggest city, more than 650 sq.km.
