Update 03.10.2007

Finally a reprieve from the cold so I grabbed a few photos. These were taken today from the City Hall and JFK Blvd areas.

Indeed "wow"!!

Fantastic pics there jmhoriel. I hadn't realised the glass cladding was this advanced. Once Comcast is completely clad & given a clean it will be an amazing shimmering silver, helping make it a truly modern great.

Thanks mate!

Thanks bud. I'm glad you are enjoying them. Now that it seems to be warming up a bit here, I hope to get regular updates going. And now that this thing is close to topping out, I'm assuming we'll see more going on at street level and in the concourse. I can't wait until later in the year when they open this baby up. I'm very interested to see what they do for the 1% for Art program and how this all fits in with Suburban Station underneath.

The base of this tower is GREAT... brings a look of sophistication to the city... makes it look more wordly and "with it"... awesome glass

poster Gar Castle from SSP took this shot. The top of the crane is approximately where the CC Center roof will top out at.

If I had my druthers I sure wish this thing would not have been designed with a flat roof. The spires work in Philly, why not keep a good thing going?
