Major Update: 2007

This is my contribution highlighting Philadelphia's most energetic development happening today.

In this update are the following new skyscrapers:
1. Residences at the Ritz-Carlton
2. Murano
3. Comcast Center
Photos edited with iPhoto.
Presentation with Keynote.
Music composed with GarageBand.
Video produced with iMovie.

Enjoy!

I have another channel with some other Philadelphia videos - this was the first one made 100% on a Mac where I spoke, composed the music, etc. (click my sig for the other videos)

Huge leap forward in technology.

BTW, I love that crisp photo above!

So pristine. It's a giant, but has a lightness to it thanks to the glass.

I used to hate the idea of a building being taller than One Liberty Place, since 1) that is my most favorite skyscraper in the world; and 2) because I felt that the skyline was perfectly balanced, especially when I drive north towards the city along I-95. But, the Comcast Center has grown on me, and I think the skyline will still look balanced from the south. One Liberty Place is still my favorite skyscraper, though.

By the way, did you guys know that a small statue of William Penn was placed at the top? I remember someone sending me the article, but I'll have to look for it again. For those of you that wonder why, here's a poem that explains the city's sports curse:

Yes, we should all contribute our YouTube videos relating to the city here where it matters most!
