The Ossau valley ( France )

This is nothing special : just the photos I took during a day trip to the Pyrénées some 20 kilometers from my home. They are displayed chronologically.

A market-town

The entrance of the valley

A sleepy spa-town

The last French village before Spain

The end of the pass when going back to France

Coming back to an erzast of civilization

A market-town ( again )

View from the pre-Pyrénées.

There are people who actually live here.

Nice photos !

Do the Pyrenees get a lot of tourism in the winter ? Are there a lot of skiing facilities ?

Interesting, I was considering doing a sort of similar thread with various pics I've taken from Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon.
