I like the Emirates livery and the Qatar one. I think GulfAir took some ideas from EL-AL's livery, especially that stipe flying from the bottom of the A/C towards the tail. Btw the GulfAir tail drawing is beautiful 2...
I wish someday I'll fly with Qatar airways, word has it that they're really good.

Its actually a very minimal change--I dont think anyone notices. I like it better this way--and still think Royal Jordanian has the best livery in the world!

Emirates to launch Flights to Sao Paulo, Brazil
Emirates is to launch flights to to the exotic destination of Sao Paulo, Brazil on October 1, 2007. The flight, which will be operated via Emirates’ home base, Dubai, is the airline’s first service to South America.
On the Dubai – Sao Paulo sector, Emirates will fly its brand new Boeing 777-200LR – the first of its ten on order, expected to be delivered this summer. HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group said, “We have been looking to expand our operations in the Americas for some time, and we are delighted to be able to launch our first South American destination when we receive our first 777-200LR later this year. “Sao Paulo is the commercial heart of Brazil and a key financial and industrial centre in Latin America, and Dubai, the Middle East’s premium hub for business and tourism. We believe this new direct air link (between Dubai and Sao Paulo) will stimulate more trade and tourism exchange between these two thriving economies, and we are confident our service would prove popular with both business and leisure travellers.” Emirates’ technologically-advanced 777-200LR will offer eight luxurious private suites in First class, 42 of its latest lie-flat seats in Business class, and generous space for 216 passengers in Economy. The 777-200LR will also offer shippers up to 18 tonnes of cargo capacity. EK261 will depart Dubai at 0930hrs on all days except Thursdays and arrive in Sao Paulo at 1800hrs. EK262 will depart Sao Paulo at 0125hrs every day except Fridays, and arrive in Dubai at 23:05. |
