I like it very much. It would be nice to see more colour though. Being Barcelona a very colourful city I miss a little bit more of the mediterranean taste on it. It looks more like a german efficient terminal instead of a warm catalan one. Hopefully the new satellite addition will be as sleek and stylish as this one but a little bit more spicy and with some local character on the inside.

Catalan architecture is rather austere. Disregarding the later modernism of course.

I hope it's inaugurated in time. I'll be in Barcelona mid-June.

After visiting Madrid's T4 before and taking the AVE from Sevilla via Madrid to Barcelona. Life is sweet.

Since yesterday, free AENA buses from T2 to T1, only for airport workers.
T1 will open on June 12th, if there are no last minute problems.

Official opening of new terminal T1 is on 16/6/2009, said by Infrastructures Minister today in all newspapers.

El vial estructurante permitirá a todos los usuarios que se desplacen desde las terminales actuales del Aeropuerto hacia la T1, o viceversa, acceder a su destino. El nuevo vial se complementará con el acceso a la nueva terminal que se podrá efectuar a través de la autovía C-31.

Los movimientos se podrán efectuar en transporte privado o en transporte público; en este caso gracias a los autobuses lanzaderas que el aeropuerto instalará para los pasajeros y para los empleados y que tendrán paradas en las terminales actuales, en la estación de ferrocarriles, en las nuevas zonas de aparcamiento y en la T1. Los autobuses lanzaderas que comuniquen la T1 con la estación de Renfe (línea C-2) coordinarán sus salidas con el horario del ferrocarril, mientras que los que comuniquen la T2 con la T1, tendrán una frecuencia de 6 o 7 minutos.

1st intercontinental flight arriving to the new T1 will be Singapore Airlines at 9am, from Singapore. On June 17th 2009, at 9am.

Current terminals are now renamed T2, all signs already on the roads and buildings.
New terminal is called T1.
